Cleaning & Feeding

We are always in need of volunteers to help with morning cleaning. We do a full cleaning from ~9 am until done (this includes spending time with the cats and kittens, of course!) Can you volunteer a few hours 1-2 days a week?

Clinics

We are periodically looking for volunteers at our Spay/Neuter (1-2 Mondays per month) and Vaccination clinics (2-3 per year).  It consists of greeting clients, completing paperwork, and taking payment. Volunteers help us to keep these clinics low-cost!

Our Mission

Annual Tent Sale

We always need volunteers for the weekend of our largest fundraiser every year - the 2nd weekend of August.  Setup takes place all day on Friday; parking, helping attendees and restocking tables is needed during the sale Saturday and Sunday; and clean-up help is especially needed Sunday afternoon.

More Ways to Help!

- Getting our quarterly newsletter ready for mailing

- Advocating for SCAR at your town meeting to help pass requests for funding

- Putting up posters in Littleton and neighboring towns to advertise clinics and fundraisers

Foster

Over the years SCAR has successfully placed thousands of cats and kittens into permanent, loving homes. This is in thanks partly to the work of our foster families who prepare our rescues for life as a proper family pet. But there are always more animals to save!

The average foster lasts a few weeks. We provide basic supplies, veterinary care, and guidance. You provide love, training, and a home. The care and attention of foster families allows SCAR to expertly match our cats with prospective homes.
